Default Logo covers on XEW's Laura

TGV-3 Guatemala has been using the logo with the oval background for a few years to cover the XEW star on Laura. HRTG-5
Honduras is not as common here, so this was my first time to see HRTG-5's El Lider 5 partly covering the XEW star.

I saw those same 2 examples Danny. Didn't realize that's why TGV-3 logo was in a bubble. Makes sense. Looks like HRTG could have done a better job at concealing.

Laura's been a bit of a lightning rod of late because of the way she uses kids on her program. It's attracted quite a bit of controversy in Mexico — here's a column from media analyst and academic Gabriel Sosa Plata, for instance — for the way she exposes kids' personal pasts (apparently she's done this on her other shows as well).

Raymie, that somehow doesn't surprise me after seeing so many bits and ppieces of that show over the years.

Recently I wasn't sure if "Laura" was still being produced; kinda thought it was all reruns.

I was gonna draw a parallel here---was gonna compare Laura to Springer when he tried to do "serious" topics around 1990, and found out that entertaining the LCD (lowest common denominator) worked better (sad to say). But if Laura was always like that, n/a!

First, I agree with Mike: HRTG could do a better job covering the logo. Maybe they are not even trying to cover it.

Second, Christopher, I thought about Springer, too.

Here is something interesting that I noticed today while reviewing a DX tape from earlier this week. THe XEW star is lower
right on Laura. So, are the Laura shows on TGV and HRTG old shows from the days when the XEW star was upper right all of
    the time?

I hadn't thought about that Danny, very possible. I would imagine only the true Laura fans like Chris, would be able to notice different things, like maybe her hair styles from the past vs today's current styles.
