Default My Top 11 Mexico and Latin America IDs During 2015 Es Season

My Top 11 Mexico and Latin America IDs During 2015 Es Season by Number of Days
    May – September 1

First, thanks to Raymie I will finish this season with proof that my XHAO-4 Tuxtla ID and other
Shadow logs from past years are indeed legitimate IDs for transmitters in the locations shown on text IDs.

Some long-time Es regulars were not so common this summer: XEFB-2, XHIT-4, and
XHDI-5 were each IDed only once; XHFM-2, XHCH-2, and XEJ-5 were IDed only two days.

Oddly, XHCV-2 VER, XHSLT-2 SLP, XHEFT-5 CAMP, and XHZ-5 Zamorano were IDed for the first time
in several years. XHHHN-2 OAX, XHCOV-4 VER, and XHAO-4 Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas were IDed for the
    first time ever.

Many receptions were short-lived, weak, and not good enough to make a good photograph.

XEPM & XHY were fairly regular this year.

I had about the same experience with Es this season... signals were, at times, plentiful, but signal strengths were generally down.

I wonder if any of the low channel Mexican analogs will be around next year. I know they're all supposed to go but, who knows.

Next year could be better for Central and South American DX with all the Mexican stations out of the way.

    Time will tell.

Judging by the way things are going there may be isolated stations left in analog, in state networks.

While looking at photo files from the summer, I realized that I somehow left XHP-3's reception of May 17 off my list. The
reception is indeed in my notebook. It has been added to the list, bringing XHP up to 12 days.

I remember that Es event well, because it was the first good Es event of the summer.
