Default UnID analog channel 22 with antenna pointed south/west/slightly east

This mysterious station kept coming in the past two evenings and it's been baffling me. I posted about this on another forum and a member there suggested it was WKNX-LP Bay City, Michigan, but since this analog 22 doesn't come in with the antenna pointed north, this is more baffling.

Hmmm. Within 475km (300 miles) of Wyandotte there are four analog stations authorized on channel 22:

WRJK-LP Arlington Heights, Illinois (Chicago) 398km (infomercials, although it's possible this station has moved to channel 24)
WKNX-LP Pinconning 179km (I have no information on this station)
W22DE Dayton, Ohio 291km (My Network TV relaying WSTR-TV 64 Cincinnati)
W22CY Clarksburg, W. Va. 406km (CBS relaying WDTV channel 5 Weston)

There's one analog station left on channel 22 in Canada, CHEX-TV-2 in Oshawa east of Toronto.

I would ask if it might be an image response, but that would be from a station 15 channels up & I'm pretty sure there's nothing on channel 37

If forced to guess I'd say WRJK.

I'm wondering if WFND-LP has really switched to digital. If I find myself going that way, I'll have to bring my portable set and antenna.

EDIT: see top of below webpage:

Comparing Sporadic-E skip to skip on the AM and shortwave bands is like comparing apples and oranges.

Comparing tropo to skip is like comparing apples and bacon cheeseburgers.

I don't see anything in that image except static.

WFND Findlay has already gone digital, and so has WRJK Chicago.

I know, but the "mono" and "480i" text are still indicators that this station was coming in at the time of these photos. If they weren't showing up (and if there was no sound even when muting the TV), then it wasn't coming in.

I'm now being told on that other forum that it's W22DE, is this most likely considering the directions that my antenna was aimed when this was coming in?

Maybe or maybe not... Personally, I wouldn't ID it unless I saw some hints like network logos and programming. Otherwise, you can't really know for certain. It can be "tentative".
