    Default A Big TVT ID

The big TVT is from the animated ID XEWO-2 runs during some commercial breaks and between some shows.

    What?!! XEWO is the TVT?

I have in a log from Mexico a few weeks back that I haven't even typed into my computer that I saw something for some 30 minutes with a Televisa Deportes logo more than once and then at about the same time wrote on my paper log while watching that channel that there was a large "TVTE??? logo or show promo during ads", seen on Ch 2. 6/13 7pm ET. It was decent size, at least half the screen, or else there's no way I would have seen it given the terrible picture.

They're Televisa. Is it possible the Deportes logo I saw around the same time as the TVT (unsure about the added E I saw/didn't see, this was obviously double hop stuff and my TV is NOT handling it well) could both be this channel?? I was aimed *south* at the time (I thought the Deportes logo was SIPSE at the time, due to the direction), but matched a top of the hour 7pm full screen logo to Deportes when 7 minutes later I drew it out on my paper with the warped globe-like logo (haha, that's how I drew it).

If it weren't for the TVT mention, I'd consider it Cancun. I'm pretty sure it went out when I aimed any further to the west.

So what is "TVT"'s meaning and is it only XEWO?

I'n not sure about the "E" part. XEWO-2 is my most-common Mexico ID, so I'll keep an eye open for the E.

The E could have been something different beside it, that may have not even been an E. With reception that crappy (well, for Es anyway), we often see strange things and write down whatever our brain thinks we saw!

But is it possible or likely to have seen a Televisa Deportes logo on that channel though? I'm not as familiar with the whole Deportes thing (this being the first season I've ever really seen Mexico on TV), as they have a different logo than Televisa itself... so I'm not sure if all Televisa channels that run a sporting event will show this Deportes logo or not.

All national deportes (sports) coverage on Televisa independent stations (like XEWO) and Televisa networks is branded with the Televisa name and/or eye logo. The title Televisa Deportes is also shown at various times on the deportes programming.

If that TVT looked like the one in the big ID picture, I would think you likely had XEWO.

FWIW...the Azteca Trece logo, usually in upper right of screen, has, in the past, fooled me into thinking it was the letter E.

Thanks guys. A likely station ID for me without even needing to search for it. Nifty.
