    It's dead, again.

How long will it be off? A day, a week, a month, a year, forever? Your guess is as good as mine.

The same fence-wire & duct-tape outfit that owns WTHQ also owns WRIK 98.3 FM, and it's tower lights have been out for 6 months, so don't hold your breath.

It's back on the air. It only took a week to fix it, this time. A new world record. :-)

Lately, I've been noticing some annoying "pop-pop-pop" on WTHQ's audio peaks.
    Why am I not surprised...

Well.... the audio has quit, now, and it's back to it's old standby format.... dead air.

Not to worry. This is normal.

WTHQ has gone back to another of it's standby formats... off air.

Don't know if they pulled the plug or it just blew up, again, but it's gone.

Late Spring 2012... it back on air.
Early July 2012... it's dead, again.
It's sister station, WRIK FM 98.3, still has no top tower light. It's been out for more than a year.

It has to cost whoever owns that station a lot of money to have so much downtime.

My guess is they're running it into the ground to take it as a tax writeoff.

WTHQ reamins dead after nearly 4 months. This is normal. They'll baling-wire & duct-tape it back on the air, someday.

It's co-owned / sister station, WRIK FM 98.3, still has no top tower light. It's been out for a year and a half.
