Why does the government think they need to take even more tv channels away to invest in broadband. It sounds like a waste of money to me. First off Verizon, At&t, etc are already rolling out 4G high speed mobile internet using channels 52 to 69 that they bought rights to. Why does the government feel they need to do the same thing?

Also they should be investing in wired internet. Wireless may be neat, but fiber-optics can carry a lot more data, and wired is always more reliable. If they really want to bring broadband to rural areas, running some fiber would be the way to go.
