  • WMP problem with WTFDA mp3's

Anybody having the same issue as me? Almost every time now that I click on an mp3 link here, my Media Player freezes up, the sound "freezes" or loops, and I have to reboot by turning off the PC totally, then turning on again.

I suppose I have to un-install & re-install? I am using Firefox if that means anything.....

    Hi Chris

    Try downloading another mediaplayer.
I never use the windoze m player

There's VLC a great little one

    http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

    or Winamp

    http://www.winamp.com/

Oh not Winamp! Really I think it is just a matter of reinstalling.

I'll be away from home until Monday, so I will figure it out then.

What's wrong with winamp? I've used it for 10 years??????????!!!!!
        I dislike windoze media player

You've got some other problem from the sound of it anyway if it's not playing mp3's properly

Ditto with Winamp. Never ever had a problem with it and I use a bunch of add-ons also. I've used Winamp for years...maybe decades!

Or use Media Player Classic for audio and video. It's free and it's not from Microsoft.
