The map below was produced in 2020 for the Eta Aquariids meteor shower.

I detected all except for one of these targets again during the 2021 Leonid meteor shower on November 17/18 with the SDRplay RSPdx-SDRuno
and a Antennacraft Y526 Yagi antenna laying on top of the shed roof.

CTV CJOH-TV-6 (1) offset in Deseronto, Ontario was shut down on October 9, 2020 as part of the Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2019-268.

Nice catches, Mike. Cool to get Ms IDs on TV, and in the dying days of analog to boot. Timmons is Timmins, BTW. I normally DX a lot of Ms events like this but we chose this week to take a holiday in Montreal and Sherbrooke QC areas (with no time to DX other than check a few local radio stations to determine their status). Next big Ms event is the Geminids Dec 13-14 or so...

Also remember that DTV is not immune to Ms catches. I strongly believe that I had WBRA 3/15 via Ms early in 2021 during a shower (although I saw no picture upon playback—just the decode after I awoke). Roanoke is perfect Ms distance from here.

A few years ago during a shower, RF 3 definitely showed a subdecode.

          Saul:

I will edit the log above to reflect the correct spelling for the city of Timmins vice Timmons.
Yes, I will be active for the Geminids too.

In my opinion, 80 percent belief, you are correct in your statement. For that to happen you have to
have a strong persistent Ms burn that exceeds 30 - 60 seconds.

I've never seen Timmins spelled any other way, aside from occasional error as Timmons. Until - coincidentally - today, when an online event included a speaker with the last name Timmons. Life is like that...

BTW, Timmins 99.3 is close enough here at my Burnt River ON DX site to come in via regular tropo scatter. And yet I have had it a few times via Ms. That and 92.1 should be your best bets for Timmins Ms from where you are. I've never caught CITO 3 by any mode...but I don't DX TV much anymore.
