    Yeah, some computer monitors don't support all valid ATSC formats. It seems especially common to not support interlaced formats -- which includes two of the three most popular formats in use...

    I was advised to changeI the output of the HW-150. The highest resolution, with the rectangle gone, is 720p. Apparently, the defaullt output was 1080.

    Can an XGA monitor be used for TV?

    I have a HANNS-G HE195ABBUFTY1 computer monitor that is not being used, and a Mediasonic HW-150 set-top box. I got an HDMI to VGA adapter. It works except that there is a green rectangle in the middle of the picture, and it says "input signal out of range".
