with hopefully some ID material (Upload #6 with more to come).

100.1 1232 - Banco Popular, fade, French, "Tu vida cambia con Orange", Dasani ad. The FF gives a phone number at the end - paging Jon. There is a branch of Orange in RD. DB only lists one actual 100.1 in RD, HIAN Antena 100 in Santo Domingo (HIMR, as mentioned earlier, is 93.3).

100.1 1304 - "Music Station 100.1" with 100.1 in Spanish. Same Dasani and Orange ad as earlier, so HIAN again. There's interference from something that's either FF or Haitian Creole at the end.

100.3 1108 - Christian station mentioning "you were named by God". He mentions being on "this station" and also on Enlace. Is that the TBN Enlace? The generic mentions make me think it's a syndicated preacher of some sort. Probably Radio Amanecer in the Dominican Republic; it has a raft of xmtrs on 100.3.

100.3 1127 - Same preacher as above but with more interference.

100.3 1220 - "...hecho muy difícil de superar por otro intérprete cubano de la música de concierto..." A classical in Cuba - Radio Musical Nacional, CMJF Santiago de Cuba.

100.3 1229 - 100.3 Monumental, Santiago de los Caballeros RD (again).

100.3 1241 - A grocery ad rapidly listening prices per pound, "Súpermercado La Fuente Dos, Av. Antonio Guzmán 102, La Barranquita"; Colchones Rex mattress store. Santiago RD, so Monumental again.

100.3 1254 - Monumental. Again.

100.5 1144 - "Polo, La Magia de los Teclados" - a DJ - "Contrátalo ya al 983 700 9414 en Calle 53 entre [Calle] 76 y Av. Constituyentes, segunda entrada a las casetas del Infonavit". Infonavit = Mexico. It's not Cd. del Carmen - there's no Av. Constituyentes there. But there is in Felipe Carrillo Puerto, so XHRTO. In fact, we can prove it's FCP. XHRTO is a permit station and should not be running commercials, but it is known to be // to commercial XHECPQ 102.1 (can you say Uc Yam?).

100.7 1118 - A place name "Chulia" that I have no idea about toward the end.

100.7 1232 - Heavy fades, but "tcpr.com" leads to a site called Ticket Center in Puerto Rico. 100.7 in PR is WXYX and its boosters with main station at Bayamón.

100.7 1251 - A newscast mentioning the Dominican Republic with frequent fades elsewhere, mentioning Súper K. 100.7 La Vega-El Mogote.

100.7 1300 - Also Súper K

Hi,

The beginning of the 100.1 1232 clip includes two cities right after the numbers, "Pétion-Ville" and "Tabarre", both in the Port-au-Prince area. The numbers match Capital Coach Line. See: http://www.flashhaiti.com/business/d...tal-Coach-Line . The final ad at 00:58 is for "InterNegoce, 4 Rue Jean Gilles, Route de l'Aéroport, Tél. 2229-6330"

So, the station is 4VAM Radio Métropole Haïti in Port-au-Prince.

Radio Metropole used to also be on AM 1280 back in the 80s---no idea when the AM shut off. Anyway on the weekends they had EE programming---I could not catch it very well, but I would think it was aimed at tourists. I suppose that being FM only, they could no longer have the coverage they used to get, to attract visitors. I wish somebody had an EE aircheck lying around.

Still, Metropole seems to be the most polished station in Haiti, delivery-wise.
