Interesting, Rick - FCC database still indicated 94.9. 100000watts shows a CP for 95.1 only.

And still nothing really matches the implied format - smooth jazz or soft ac.

101.7 is definitely KD 101, KAYD. They mention Tony and Kris in the morning and a Taylor Swift concert in Jacksonville both of which appear on their website.

WKIU, with a gospel format, moved to 95.1 in May 2011 according to their website. So definitely not them.

This is becoming quite a puzzle.

Here's a longer clip of the 94.9 station. About 15 minutes later, after this one had faded, I had WKOR, Columbia, MS, which permits the possibility of WKIU-LP, I think. The big question is whether or not they are "The Sound".

Thanks, Nick - KAYD is a relog, but good to get it figured out. 94.9 could as easily be in TX or MS or AL as well as LA.

There are no 94.9 LP's in either AL or TX. WKIU-LP is in Tupelo and appears to have a varied format. Monroe LA is religious, so not them.

I hear "KD-101" in the 101.7, that's KAYD Silsbee TX. 94.9 Cincinnati is "Rewind 94-9" now so that would rule them out. Strange one. No leads in google. There is another 94.9 LP in Monroe LA, a bit north of the skip area though.

First one is 101.7, format is country and this includes a slogan but I can't make it out.

Second one is94.9. While this might match up with Cincinnati, the skip area was all Gulf Coast.

As usual, thanks in advance for any help.
