A nice bit of tropo Wednesday morning here in Poughkeepsie, NY, the first real DX conditions this year, and one new log.

First caught WBOC DT-21 around 9am, w/ CBS on 16.1 and FOX on the subchannel they call 21.2. (244 miles)

Then WVIR DT-32 Charlottesville, VA popped in briefly for DTV LOG #190 at 358 miles. The "LoanMax" (WVIR) screenshot posted here might be WVIR 29.3 CW. It was from a VHS tape, and shortly after this was recorded I noticed the converter showed "29.3" instead of "29.1".

A bit later after 10am, WUND DT-20 from Edenton, NC faded up (427 miles). It was almost exactly 2 years ago I first logged this one, which was my first DTV DX... that was a great way to start and what got me hooked.

    Good work, Chris.

It seems like just yesterday you said you weren't getting any DX...

...but today is different story. :-)

Nice to see WBOC again. It was one of the regulars, when I was DXing from the Trenton, N.J. area, 20+ years ago.

Your new TV is sitting on top of your old TV.

        Nice catches...

Looks like there is some strong tropo forecasted up the east coast these next few days. Should be a good time to log stuff for people near the coast.
