    ANALOG TV via Es May - August 2021

    No new analogs in 2021.

    Relogs: 24 different stations.

    US: 1
    Canada: 6 (ON 5, MB 1)
    Cuba: 8
    El Salvador: 3
    Guatemala: 1
    Honduras: 3
    Nicaragua: 2

    DIGITAL TV via Es May - August 2021

    New Logs: 4

    New DTV States: 2 (IN, MA)

    Relogs: 29 different DTVs
    Relog States: 15 and ON

    I'm thankful for another good Es season.

    I hope your fall tropo and AM DX are interesting.

      Thank you, Tommy. Your interest in my DX is much appreciated.

      Some (if not all) Central America analogs remain on the air due to problems related to Covid 19. Although I will miss the analogs when they are gone, we pray that the pandemic ends soon.

        I think that of the Central American countries, only Costa Rica has taken the plunge into DTV; however some smaller analog stations, which I doubt I will ever see, remain, per DX Info Centre.

        Panama and Honduras were ready to go, pre COVID. The shutoffs there are still on hold.

            The Dominican Republic released official documents from INDOTEL in early November, announcing 2022 plans to convert to ATSC 1.0 before the end of September. One of the PDF documents has two pages that outlines the assignments for each station. There will be DTV stations on low VHF (RF 2, 4, 5, and 6).

            Fall & Winter 2019 dx equipment
            Antennas - Antennacraft MXU59 UHF antenna & home-brew version of Antennacraft VHF Y-10-7-13 antenna @ 25'. Both antennas fed through a Channel Master 7777 30dB pre-amp.
            Tuners - Zenith DTT901 converter box; AirSpy HF+ sdr; Silicon Dust HD Homerun Dual ATSC tuner, using Rabbitears autologger support.
