Hello all,
I am using the RDS Auto logger plugin for SDR# with my AirSpy HF+ Discovery, but would prefer to use an RDS Auto logger with SDR Console software, if possible.
I haven't been able to find such an option within SDR Console and have looked within the software's own forums for a feature request, but can't see one.
I am aware for US stations there are two RDS Auto Loggers, one for each SDR software programme above, that feed to RabbitEars.info for mapping purposes, but this is not available for stations outside of the USA that cannot receive FM DX from there.
Not being familiar with how that 3rd party software works for SDR Console, I am wondering if there is a way already figured out to 'scan' FM channels within SDR Console for the purpose of gathering RDS hits, that saves to a spreadsheet/database, before being then sent to mapping?
Would be happy to forget about the mapping feature, if the ability to save RDS hits was achievable.
I am currently sitting on two fixed frequencies of 87.5 and 87.6 MHz with two receiver panes opened, within my nearly 800 kHz bandwidth for my AirSpy HF+ Discovery SDR when not able to monitor myself.
I would make a feature request to Simon G4ELI for such an RDS auto logger for SDR Console, but don't want to burden him with extra work that may never be implemented if there is an existing way to already do this.
Best regards
Philip G0ISW
