Attached clip, from 2359 May 10 on 94.5, has what sounds like a Wild 94.5 ID. Followed by country music. Then it clearly switches gear to MN.
But I'm skeptical. CHAT Medicine Hat AB has a few things in its favor: what seems like a clear slogan ID, the country music following it, and its status as a 100,000 watt station. But it's 1525 miles from my Burnt River ON location, north of Toronto. I've only had AB once by Es (98.5 Calgary a few years ago). I can find no evidence of any other Wild 94.5, besides CHAT. Maybe someone just used the word Wild in another context. Can somebody please set me straight with this one, one way or the other? The second station has a MN Association of Broadcasters PSA. It's either a separate burst or if in the same one is very roughly in the same direction as Alberta. There's the start of a second ad on that one, for Early Bird something. If it's Electric, it's St. Paul. If it's a fishing guide service, that one is located in northeast MN. Any comments and listens are greatly appreciated.
