Hi no2cw, Mike-CT, Russ-PA and antennanut, Thanks no2cw for the How To Video. Here is a weblink to How to Setup a Remote Accessible-Tef6686 Radio Using Linux. This how to guide will work with the Raspberry Pi too. https://github.com/NoobishSVK/fm-dx-...x-Installation

This is something I'm going to try. I just ordered a usb soundcard.

I wouldn't mind a video myself. I'm in that Discord group but I don't know what channel that info is in. I haven't found any so far.
It seems the Europeans are way ahead of us in all this SDR stuff. I wonder why.

This is now done by a group of enthusiasts within a discord group and I am following their guidance. I will create a youtube video. The improvements are happening very fast and I am hoping this will soon be a user friendly process that can be done with a couple of clicks. check out the current map of active receivers here: https://list.fmdx.pl/ the receiver in Chole gets some very interesting trans equatorial signals from the Carribean

Hi I would like to know how to set up my TEF6686 radio and make it accessible online for me to DX on when I am not at home and for anyone to use to listen or DX on when I am not able to DX. Is there a step by step tutorial on how to do this. If they do have one it needs to be put up on the WTFDA forums as a sticky post. Lets get a network of TEF6686 Radios across the country up and going. Can this be done making remotely accessible on other SDR Tuners like the Airspy HF+ ?

I like it. I listened to it for around two hours. I made some changes to the RDS in the FM database too. I need to find out more about how to do this.
So today (2/10) I finished scanning the Miami band and updating the FM database. Miami area is now up to date. Thanks!
Ivan--are there instructions on how to set up the radio for remote access and where can I find them? How hard was it?Last edited by Mike-CT; 02-10-2024, 01:46 PM.
