    Tropo logs from 5/12 -16

The last few days have brought in a lot of very nice tropo stations. Just one new log, but always a nice treat and a sign summer isn't far away.

    Radio: Sony XDR-S10HDiP
Antenna: RadioShack directional rabbit ears and a 1/4 ground plane antenna

Saturday (5/13) brought in a less common tropo opening to western PA. Didn't last too long, but it was strong! Then, the usual Delmarva tropo came back in. Not sure what caused the shift to Western PA, but I assume it was a change in the weather pattern, as a cold front from the north came down, and it mostly killed tropo for a day.

Yes I know that area was hot for DX the past few days after checking the FMList Virtual Logbook and seeing the activity down there, which never reached New England.
