2022 DTV Es: Two New Logs

Analog K03FB Snowflake AZ was received here after my local analog KTBS-3 left the channel in 2009.

However, I never really expected to receive this: 300 watt DTV K03FB-D Snowflake. Yet, persistence paid off.

KVOA Tucson translator K04QP-D Casas Adobes AZ is received here a few times every summer. Often when K04QP decodes, a weakish signal is indicated by the STBs on channel 3. This has been going on for years.

On July 2, the channel 3 briefly decoded. The PSIP ID reads: "8-1 AZ PBS."

Another AZ PBS is on 3 in western AZ, far from Casas Adobes, and it has only 21 watts.

I don't like these either/or-guessing situations, so I asked Christopher Dunne for his input. Thanks, cd.

The distance to K03FB-D is 940 miles.

For a couple of years, I've been watching for WNGH-DT 4/18 Chatsworth GA. WNGH decoded on August 14. The distance is 544 miles. WNGH is my fourth DTV via Es from GA.

Thankfully, I had the opportunity to DX another Es season.

    Best DX to everyone.

      Andrew, thank you.

      Your short Es is outstanding.

      Those are nice logs.

Any DTV via Es from FL would be welcome here. I have been trying, but Cuba analogs are part of my problem.

South and east FL analogs were among my most-frequent logs via Es during the analog days.
